Great work, I enjoyed reading this guys! I'd love to hear more about practical use-cases in the environment that is being described if that's possible. Maybe something for a future article?

Love the 4 step process! Thanks for sharing 🌞

You are so welcome Chris! 🙏

Valuable read! For every AI tool collaboration I use very similar in the sense that they are all Reflective Amplification Partners (RAP). Always fun debating first before creating.

I agree slowing down is just so important (realized this after like hundreds of failed attempts lol). I still struggle honestly because even these tools just wanna splash with speed, and it feels sexy to "feel" you'll get more work done. Whereas you most likely won't.

It’s so hard and sometimes has to be something you force yourself to do. When you do take that pause moment though…so beneficial.

Dr Sam Illingworth's avatar

Could not agree more Chintan. Pausing down to focus on what needs to be made more effective is absolutions way forward. 🙏

Great framework. So important to have the right systems and strategies for great input, so you get great output.

Dr Sam Illingworth's avatar

Thanks Dennis. And you are absolutely right. Rubbish in = rubbish out. 🙏

Why does this sound so much more charming than garbage in, garbage out?? I need to switch up my usage. :)

Katie Barnes's avatar

Exactly. Relatively simple when it comes down to it, but we’re so trained to move fast. It’s really lovely to slow down sometimes.

Completely agree- it’s looking at AI as a highly capable resource to use intentionally and strategically. When the human crafts the workflow or ideal inputs, each step along the way with AI will have better outputs.

Exactly this Cheryl. 🙏

This is a recipe to keep dopamine in check! Great tips Sam!

This reminded me of Thomas Friedman's Thank You for Being Late. Slowing down amid acceleration becomes a true advantage. The pause is not wasted time. It is where understanding catches up to technology. Loved this reflection.

Same philosophy!

Katie Barnes's avatar

It really is true. I find it especially true lately. As a toddler parent and someone who is always involved with early-stage startups. You have to try to move quick, but it is SO rewarding to pause every once in awhile

Juan Salas-Romer's avatar

Oh boy! I know exactly what you mean. Are you at the terrible twos stage or further? 🤣

Katie Barnes's avatar

Right in the heart of the terrible twos!! It’s a wild ride

Dr Sam Illingworth's avatar

Thanks so much Juan. And that is a really kind comparison. 🙏

This resonates. I've noticed AI-generated plans don't stick for me because: 1) they're missing context AI can't see, and 2) I have no emotional connection to them. No struggle with the problem means no investment in the solution.

Katie Barnes's avatar

So true! If you take a bit of time with it though and provide that context, you can see amazing results!

That is brilliantly put Emma. 🙏
