I had this yesterday with a Founder who's absolutely killing it. Adding $50k ARR in Jan. Burnt $20k. Adding $100k in Feb forecasted. The flywheel is spinning..But he's letting someone go and been wrestling with the decision. He's hired a rockstar engineer but exposes what he used to think was exceptional wasn't exceptional - doubting himself. And is one comfort in life his cat is dreadfully ill. A mixed bag, a success crisis, learning rapidly on the job, a challenging conversation to be had BUT I simply told him this - this is the life, winning in the big areas, all in but operating with intention & market is pulling which is rare. Suggested he did something selfish that has nothing to do with work - a walk, a friend, the gym, get smashed. It doesn't matter just firebreak the mental frame. Thanks for sharing Katie. prioritization sticks out as a key need here, that should live in the early part of that middle space
